The Crouse Volunteer Fire Department is committed to protecting the lives, property, and environment of our community through fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency medical response. As dedicated volunteers, we strive to deliver professional, compassionate service while promoting fire safety and prevention education throughout Gaston and Lincoln Counties.
What We Do
Fire Suppression
Rapid response to structure fires, vehicle fires, and wildland fires to minimize damage and protect lives.
Emergency Medical
First responder medical assistance, providing critical care until EMS transport arrives on scene.
Fire Prevention
Community education programs, safety inspections, and public outreach to prevent fires before they start.
Rescue Operations
Vehicle extrication, technical rescue, and specialized rescue operations for a wide range of emergency situations.
Service Area
The Crouse Volunteer Fire Department serves as Station 8 in Lincoln County and Station 75 in Gaston County, providing fire protection and emergency services to communities throughout both counties in North Carolina.
Our dedicated volunteers respond to emergencies throughout the Crouse area and surrounding rural communities, working in coordination with neighboring departments and county emergency services to ensure comprehensive coverage for all residents.
